For Fellow Time Travelers
Are you curious? Thoughtful? Openminded? Maybe you're more risk-averse and reserved. The question isn't really who are you, it's who am I. And what do I want. I want you to stop feeling overwhelmed or frustrated when it comes to your love life. If you're at the point where you tell yourself that you don't care, then I want to change that: I want you to feel inspired and hopeful, to get back in the game and back on the horse if you've been feeling reluctant or uninspired.
What if time travel were real, but the only day you could go back to is today?
Remember, “we can't go back, we can only go forward?” But what if we actually could go back? What if, when you woke up this morning, it was today's date you traveled back in time to? What if you — right now — are getting a do-over? For today? In one year, or five years, or ten years, will you wish you could go back to today and make different choices? Or are you listening to your future self right now, urging you to realize how really and truly lucky you are to have today — the whole rest of today — unlived? That you are back? What action can you take today to prevent future regret?
I wrote* an e-book called “Tweak” that will motivate you to take that action, and identify which action to take if you’re waffling. It will also inspire you to start dating again if you've stopped or get brave and put yourself out there in other ways if the apps are not your thing. This site is a labor of love for me, a creative endeavor that started as a way to chronicle insights into the dark corners of the human mind and secret crevices of the human heart, but a friend suggested I turn that journal into a subscription based series of stories. Where my ebook(s) are designed to help you write your story, the anecdotes on this website are designed to help me process and grow from mine.
